Posts from Awesome Folks #45

A weekly round up of blog posts from Awesome folks

Good morning,

This week has been packed with dialling into workshops with different clients; I've been on zoom, MS Teams, Google meet, Slido, Miro, Microsoft whiteboard (😢), Jamboard, Google slides, Trello and Slack. It's a lot of context switching, and the experiences of all differ greatly, as well as the keyboard shortcuts. I am looking forward to the weekend when my only focus will be decorating and getting outside.

All this dialling in is a stark reminder that hybrid has a long way to go, and many organisations don't have the tools, practices or experiences yet to make it work. This is unsurprising as we have only just got fully remote workshops to a better place.

I look forward to seeing how this develops and what practices and creative solutions emerge over the next few months.

Happy Friday, and enjoy this week's posts; I'm particularly fascinated by the Tulsa Remote project, which has echoes of model villages.
